During the first lockdown in April 2020 Sudbury Town Council launched Sudbury's Virtual High Street to encourage residents to shop and discover local from home during COVID-19 restrictions. The initiative has been well received with over 1000 weekly visitors to the platform and more residents discovering, supporting and shopping local online.
Sudbury's Virtual High Street has now re-launched with added functionality including an inbuilt e-commerce platform.
