One of the largest remembrance tributes in the entire country has once again made its mark in the heart of Sudbury. A 90-foot cargo net covered in 23,000 knitted and crocheted poppies was affixed by the Suffolk Fire Service onto the tower of St Peter's on Market Hill, as thoughts turn towards those who lost their lives fighting in wars past, and those whose lives have been impacted as a result of conflict worldwide, ahead of Remembrance Day.

The tribute made its first appearance in the town in 2018 following the effort of hundreds of volunteers, who lent their hand to the project over many hours marking the 100 year anniversary of the end of The First World War.
