March in the footsteps of Romans, marvel at finds from a 1st century Villa and meander through landscape that inspired a painter. We start with a short taxi ride to Hill Farm to meet farmer and author Ashley Cooper, who will guide us around a small museum of finds from a nearby Roman Villa. We then meander through undulating countryside captured in Gainsborough's painting 'Mr and Mrs Andrews'. There'll be a picnic stop at Bulmer to view the church before returning back to Sudbury.
