About the Event

Our 'Step into the Sudbury Story' guided tours take place on the 3rd Saturday of the month and are led by professional Blue Badge guides from Guide East. ​From the inspirational to the creative, the scandalous to the gory, come join us to Step in the Sudbury Story!

Sudbury is an ancient market town in the heart of the picturesque Stour Valley surrounded by the landscape that inspired Sudbury's most famous son - the 18th Century internationally celebrated painter Thomas Gainsborough. Your guide will unveil tales of Sudbury's fascinating history from Saxon settlements, artistic inspiration, peasants revolts to Sudbury Silk. Join us  on one of our Sudbury guided tours and your expert guides will bring Sudbury's ancient streets to life!
