We’re looking for hidden histories from St Peter’s and Sudbury’s past, that you the community can tell us about, and that we can weave into our future storytelling in St Peter’s. Stories we might have missed, from it’s very beginnings, through word of mouth, right up to living memory. Bring photographs and memorabilia and our project team will be on hand to take scans (with your permission) and listen to your tales.
Good Times – The time that the Reverend accidentally married a young woman to her brother in law rather than the groom! Did you get married in St Peter’s, or maybe your parents or grandparents did? What were the town’s major celebrations over time? Bell ringing…
