Part of the annual Suffolk Walking Festival, join us in Sudbury to explore Sudbury's industrious past and present! Today, Sudbury is world-famous for silk weaving, but many other industries have grown up in the town. This walk will follow a route around the town centre down to the meadows.

Today, Sudbury is world-famous for silk weaving, but many other industries have grown up in the town. This walk will follow a route around the town centre down to the beautiful water meadows. Along the way we'll explore the history of the town's many other industries including woollen cloth weaving, brewing, maltings and even the production of boat propellors. So much for a small market town! Distance 2 miles Refreshment venues in the town centre after the walk. Town car parking available.
