About the Event
The market is held on the last Friday of every month in the beautiful venue of St Peter's on Market Hill, right in the centre of town, and it really is the perfect place to stock up on all your food shopping.
A wonderful selection of traders fill the venue selling a fantastic range of the very best, fresh, local produce and a small selection of the highest quality, hand produced crafts. Produce on offer includes local venison, Suffolk pork, beef from Cratfield, home baked cakes from Hadleigh, local honey, freshly baked pies and bread, raw milk and cream, jams and chutneys and an amazing selection of locally grown fresh vegetables.
There is also a wonderful café, run by the Sudbury based charity, The Bridge Project, serving delicious scones, sandwiches, great coffee and freshly baked cakes.
