About the Event
The orchestra will also be performing Larsson’s Pastoral Suite and Schubert’s Symphony no. 6. The Larsson work is one of Sweden’s most popular works by one of Sweden’s favourite composers – its fun and attractive music from the very start. The Mozart Flute Concerto is Mozart at his most elegant and lyrical and really shows off the artistry of the soloist. Schubert’s 6th Symphony is one of his more youthful works and it is joyful and full of melodies which weave around the orchestra. Great fun to play and even more fun to listen to.
