Special Summer Holiday Offer: One paying adult may bring one child free of charge. Suitable for ages 9+ Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and is a wonderful introduction to weaving, textiles and surface pattern design. No specialist equipment or previous experience is needed. Perfect for creative children, teenagers, parents, grandparents and anyone curious about textiles and making.
• Paint your own papers using watercolour techniques • Learn the fundamentals of weaving • Explore colour, pattern and design • Create a series of woven paper samples • Take home finished woven artworks
Refreshments included: Tea, coffee, squash, cakes, biscuits and snacks will be available throughout the day. • Please bring a packed lunch. What to wear: Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting paint on, or an apron.
