Update on
Party in the Park 2024
Earlier in the year Sudbury Town Council were informed by Babergh District Council that building works were due to commence on the new toilet block and cafe within Belle Vue Park in Summer 2024.
With this in mind our members made the decision to change the venue to Market Hill and host 'Party on The Hill' to make use of the planned pedestrianised space over the summer.
However in April this year, Suffolk County Council decided not to commence with the planned Experimental Traffic Order (ETRO) for Market Hill meaning many of the plans for summer events also had to be cancelled.
Unfortuately this means that Party in the Park will not be taking place in 2024, during this break we are re-thinking how we can reshape the event going forward.

BELLE VUE PARK
A real hidden green oasis, Belle Vue Park is located in the centre of Sudbury with it's main entrance accessible from Newton Road. A short 5 minute walk from Sudbury train station and with free town parking nearby on Great Eastern Street / Station Road.
