The aim of the award
The Mayor's Award is to recognise the unsung heroes of Sudbury - the community champions, volunteers, carers, emergency service employees, charity workers, school staff and more, who go above and beyond their usual duties for the residents and community of Sudbury, and expect no extra recognition for doing so.
If you know someone who fits the bill and deserves praise for their selfless efforts, you can nominate them using the form below.
Voting opens on 1st July and closes on 31st October 2026.
The winner will be invited to receive their award at The Mayor's Christmas Event on 10th December 2026.
